Contemporary Dance technique classes encourage us to challenge and develop our strength, flexibility, alignment and stamina through a series of structured dance exercises.

The Beginner courses will introduce the main principles of contemporary dance including posture, alignment and use of weight, through warm-up exercises, sequences, and short free movement exploration. Intermediate/Advanced courses build on the principles of contemporary dance in more complex and advanced movement sequences. These courses explore exercises in using the spine, jumps, travels and floorwork to develop strength, stamina, release and control and a brilliant continuation from our beginner’s course.
