Tai Chi (Wu style) is a gentle, meditative form that adheres to the philosophical Taoist principles of yin and yang. During the practice the body remains relaxed, while the mind's focus is on the flow of energy through the body. Tai Chi exercises can be beneficial for stress-related disorders and bone, joint and muscular problems. Balance, focus, flexibility and coordination are also improved. We teach Wu style which is a gentle, meditative form that focuses on internal processes. It is known for its healing properties. The short form has 18 postures – beginners will learn the first seven postures, while continuing students will be taught the rest.
