FREE TALK presented by BNHC & Infinity Foods

Free flow - the Chinese health cultivation teachings on how to exercise

by Peter Deadman

Thursday 16 February • 6.30-8pm • at The Brighthelm Centre

For wFor well over 2000 years, China’s best minds have explored how to live in a way that promotes health and long life. One of the key teachings of this ‘nourishment of life’ tradition is how to cultivate the body-mind with movement and exercise. This free talk will look at some of these ideas, their expression in the unique internal arts tradition (tai chi, qigong, bagua etc.) and the growing body of evidence that confirms their power to improve strength, balance, flexibility and good health. Most of the ideas and topics covered will be equally relevant to the practice of yoga, Pilates and other forms of body-mind cultivation.

Peter Deadman - co-founder of Infinity Foods and the Brighton Natural Health Centre - has practised and taught Chinese medicine for over 40 years. He is author of the recently published Live Well Live Long: Teachings from the Chinese Nourishment of Life Tradition.
