Pilates balances strength and flexibility through slow, controlled movements. It improves our breathing, body alignment, dynamic balance and muscle tone, particularly in the abdominal area. It is a way to learn more about ourselves, to appreciate and enjoy our bodies, and to optimise our potential.

Pilates can be helpful for sufferers of chronic back pain, osteoporosis, stress-related problems, osteo-arthritis and scoliosis. It can help rehabilitation following sports injuries and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
