Emily has been practicing yoga since 1979.She initially studied Iyengar Yoga. Since 1993 her main teacher has been Dona Holleman. She attended a 4-year Teacher Training Course run by Dona and Orit Sen-Gupta and gained a diploma in 2001. Emily is also influenced by Scaravelli Yoga. The style of yoga she teaches is based on traditional poses (asanas), but is taught in a way that describes the way in which nature and the body works.
