Amrita is from Zimbabwe and has been practicing yoga for eight years. In 2003 she trained for 2 years to become a Hatha Yoga Teacher with Yoga Vidya in Germany. This was followed by Jivamukti Teacher Training with Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York and she completed a year-long apprenticeship with Jivamukti Yoga London. She is an 800 hour Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher. Amrita has also trained for many years in ballet and contemporary dance and is currently a therapist in-training with the Humaniversity Netherlands.
