Ginny Haswellginny-new

Ginny has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2007. Initially gaining her teaching qualification in Astanga Vinyasa Yoga, she has since completed trainings with Paul Grilley (yin yoga and anatomy), Shiva Rea (vinyasa flow), Dr Timothy McCall (therapeutic yoga) and Tiffany Cruickshank (yoga medicine); as well as continuing to study with inspiring teachers by attending regular workshops.

With her belief that yoga should be accessible to all and adapted to meet the needs of the individual, Ginny is committed in sharing her knowledge and personal experience of how a mindfully approached practice leads to a healthy and balanced body, clarity of mind and greater enjoyment of life.

Her teaching style reflects her knowledge and passion for anatomy, sound alignment in asana, Chinese Medicine, mindfulness and self-myofascial release. Her classes are informative yet lighthearted. Many years of teaching yoga to a broad demographic has allowed Ginny to recognise that no two bodies are the same; that each time we come to our mat we are starting from a different place, whether that be physically, energetically, mentally or emotionally. From this understanding Ginny places an emphasis on individual attention and encourages each student to explore their own practice with a mindful and honest approach.
