Sarah’s former life as a musician brought her to yoga in 2003. She has trained extensively in Vinyasa Flow with Jason Crandell and is often invited to assist on his teacher training courses. Sarah is really passionate about yoga that gets you feeling everything; no numbing out or checking out which in turn allows students to explore what’s going on beyond the asana.

In her teaching Sarah encourages absorption and self study with a firm belief in using yoga to avoid the auto-pilot and the need for speed that encompasses so much of our daily lives. She cultivates slow, deep, alignment-based sequences which come alive from the energy of a community setting so that students feel more connected. At the heart of Sarah’s teaching is humour and the encouragement to be authentic to ourselves and to create a practice filled with joy and longevity.
