Hatha Yoga is a calming, gentle and supportive form of yoga which increases mind-body awareness. Hatha is the most widespread type of yoga and aims to strengthen the body and relax the mind in a gentle and calming manner.

These classes increase mind-body awareness and are flowing and meditative. The content of each class differs from week to week so that you can enjoy variety. All classes include breath work and alignment, and end with a period of relaxation. The feel of the sessions is meditative so that you leave feeling calm and relaxed, as well as stretched.

We are pleased to introduce two new Hatha classes to our programme in the Spring term:

Dynamic Hatha Yoga with Sarah Williams Thursdays 6-7.15pm starts 27th April (first class is a FREE taster session - sign up below!)

Sarah Williams is new to BNHC, but has been teaching vinyasa and hatha yoga in and around Brighton for several years and practising for over 14 years, she is currently completing her second 500 hour teacher training at the Vajrasati school of Yoga in Brighton, read more about Sarah W here.

Hatha Yoga with Sarah Pailthorpe Tuesdays 2-3pm starts 25th April (first class is a FREE taster session - sign up below!)
