Very few people retain their strength and vitality in later years. However yoga can help to rejuvenate the body and revitalize the mind.

Yoga helps by providing elasticity to the spine, firming up the skin, removing tension from the body, strengthening the abdominal muscles, improving the quality of muscle tone and correcting poor posture. It can act as a preventative measure for diseases such as osteoporosis and arthiritis. Yoga can also help you deal better with changes in life circumstance e.g. children leaving home, retirement. This class is suitable for people in good health as well as those who have some minor health conditions. It is taught by Emily who has personal experience of the benefits of yoga over the age of 50!
