kintegra - a Moving Mindful Practice
Kintegra Mindfulness Movement is a practice developed out of dance , yoga, body conditioning and meditation. The training focuses on the four base elements of movement: Shape, Flow, Mass, Intention. The movement sequences develop strength, stamina, range of movement and energy flow. The stimulation of the senses induce a focused mindfulness. The positive convergence of physical and cognitive experience is termed Kinetic Integration (Kintegra). Kintegra Mindfulness Movement has been developed by Laurie Booth. An internationally recognised choreographer, dancer and Gyrotonic Instructor, he first encountered Mindfulness meditation in India in 1974. Kintegra combines the full range of his experience into a unique practice.
