Tai chi increases brain volume

Tai chi has been shown to increase brain volume in older people, as well as improve memory and thinking test scores. These were the findings of a 40-week trial of non-demented seniors which found tai chi more beneficial than simple social group interaction, walking and no intervention. Volume 30, number 4, June 2012. pp 757-766).
