No apparent extra benefit from Bikram/hot yoga

Great claims are made for Bikram/hot yoga and some people love the sweat and burn of the practice. However, a new study seems to show that it offers no greater benefits than regular yoga , at least as far as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood lipids, weight or blood glucose are concerned. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2018/jan/19/hot-or-not-bikram-no-more-beneficial-than-any-other-yoga-says-vascular-study
